I just went through all of the posts I had done within the past year or so, and realized they're all wedding planning,

and I realized I never posted any pictures of the actual wedding.

So here they are:

This is it! For more pictures, check out my Flickr (Blogger is being frustrating and refusing to let me upload pictures).

Dress 4

When I put this dress on, I loved it. However, the more I look at pictures of it, the less I like it. What's that about? From David's Bridal.

Dress 3

I've tried this dress on twice. From my first trip to David's Bridal, it was the only one that I loved, and when I came back I still loved it. However my future MIL and SIL both hated it. le sigh. I still love it, and the more I look at pictures of it, the more I think I love it. I enjoy the way it fits me, I love the way it flows and has layers (which I previously thought I would hate!) and I love the little detailwork on the hip.

Dress 2

I love this dress. Several people have pointed out that it looks very similar to my prom dress, only longer and white. I still love it. From David's Bridal's Oleg Cassini Collection.

Dress 1

This is Zach's favorite dress. I love the way I look in it and I like the detail and the ruffle at the back; however, I don't like that it's made of a heavy-ish satin. For a daytime, Spring wedding, I'd like to have a dress that's more of a lace or chiffon fabric. The dress is in the Galina Signature from David's Bridal.

Sad Day

Because David's Bridal is having their $99 sale right now, I decided to check out which dresses they're offering for such a scandalously low price.

And they have their one dress that I've always been in love with. It's an all-lace V-neck trumpet gown, which (I just found out) is normally between $799 and $849. I've included it before when I posted about more dresses that I love.

However, I've found a flaw. And it's a pretty big one. A deal-breaking one.

Somehow, David's Bridal has never show the dress's back. I've seen several pictures of it in catalogs and magazines, from different photo shoots, and the view is always from the front.

Apparently, though, I've never looked at the dress on the actual David's Bridal website. Because that's the only place they show the back of the dress.

And it plunges. Deep.

Crap. Well, back to the drawing boards.

Elizabeth Dye's Honeychurch

I am SO IN LOVE with this dress by Elizabeth Dye. It's part of her 2010 bridal collection with English Department.

Does anyone want to travel to Portland, Oregon with me the 31st to see their fashion show? I wish they were located on the East coast. I would TOTALLY be there.

Also, as if I wasn't already sold, each new dress is named after a literary heroine. COME ON!!!!

More dresses

Sometimes I feel like all I do is look at wedding dresses online or in magazines. I need to start trying some on already!

I was recently scoping out the dresses on Project Wedding, and here are my four favorites.

It's a strapless, A-line dress, which is sorta surprising for me, since I tend to sway away from them for the most part. However, it's
not very A-line, and the top of it isn't the traditional strapless
that's in style right now, which I honestly can't stand. This looks different and interesting.

This
dress looks a little more like other dresses I have enjoyed, although it's apparently an A-line too. Maybe I was mistaken on what an A-line dress is. I
thought it was those poofy princess ones. Apparently not. I like this dress because it mixes chiffon and lace, and there is also some beadwork around the midriff area.

This dress I'm not quite so sure about; the sleeves are interesting, but I'm not sure if they make the dress look too
informal. Also, looking at these dresses, I think that I like a "sweep" train better than a "chapel" train. This dress, the first dress and the last dress have a "chapel" train, while the second has a "sweep" train. It just looks like it would be longer and harder to manage, and I don't want to have to worry about stepping on anything too much on my big day, nor do I want any kind of bustle.

I always feel a little silly saying that I love this dress, but I kinda do. It's simple, yet not too simple. The lace is very pretty. I love the cut of the V-neck with the empire waste, and although the site says it's "trumpet/mermaid," I don't really see it, but then again, I apparently only just learned what A-line looks like, so I'm not really the expert on dress shapes.

Saja Wedding Dresses

I think I'm in love.

With these dresses.

I'm almost contemplating leaving work, just so I can go to their store and try them on. It's right off of West Houston. It would take me less than 20 minutes to get there. But who would go with me? I can't try on wedding dresses for the first time alone.

Soon though. I have to go soon.

Really, I would love to try on all of the dresses. Some of them aren't my style at all, they just look so gorgeous and flowy and nice!

Another Dress

So, I don't love this dress. There's something about it--I can't tell if it's the model or the dress itself, but there's just something not perfect about it. But it's pretty darn close. I like the shape, the cut, the sheer straps and all of that. Overall I like it a lot, I just don't love it. But since I'm trying to put ideas up here... I could be happy with a dress like this. Not this one. But like it.

I think my favorite thing about this dress is the appearance of the bottom half: I like how it drapes and is kinda sheer, but pretty at the same time. (The more I look at it... the more I think that it might be the model that I can't stand... and that she's tainting the rest of the dress.)

I mean seriously... look at her face! But the bust of the dress is pretty cool too. I figure... I don't really want to look like a princess... but looking like a goddess wouldn't be that bad.

Another dress

Here's another dress that I find startlingly pretty. It is very unique, and a bit strange, but I can't help staring at it.

I love the hem on the bottom, I love the lace detail on the top. I love the wrap around on the waste. I love the strap/almost sleeves.

I love the back. And guess what? This is the dress in ivory. It also comes in white. I might have to find this store and try the dress on because it just something. I can't explain it any better, but it's there.

Wedding planning

I can't figure out why I love this dress so much, but I do. It's very different from most of the other dresses that I like, but there's something about it....
